Map glitch

Post by Franciscus »

Hi

I have noticed in several scenarios that the hexes are superimposed over some map lettering.

Example below, in the Road to Moscow I scenario (Baltic Sea and East Prussia...)

No mods applied

Is this WAD ?

I don't see it that way here, but I don't use the new graphics.

Here that happens in 2D Huge, not in 2D Large and smaller.

This one probably won't be fixed right away. Everything gets painted left to right and top to bottom. For a full refresh, labels get printed last, otherwise, labels get reprinted if necessary. I can add code to have it repaint the label for those bottom three but that's expensive to check at the moment and I'd rather not slow down map repainting right now. It's on 'The list' now, thanks.

As a quick and dirty fix, could you just move where the text is drawn up a bit so it's not hanging down enough to get massively cut off?

If it was where I drew the green box, it'd be above the row of hexes below (like the smaller text) and not get chopped off.

Did you ever see history portrayed as an old man ... weighing all things in the balance of reason?
Is not [it] an eternal, imploring maiden, full of fire, with a burning heart and flaming soul, humanly warm and humanly beautiful?
