Stalingrad-Turning Point 1942 TOAW Redux

Post by Silvanski »

On request, Stalingrad-Turning Point 1942, my TOAW Redux version

Note that the map scale used is 2.5 Km/Hex while the designer states it is a nominal 400 m per hex
TOAW IV now allows a 0.5 Km/hex scale which should come close to the actual map used.
Movement however may be affected, so some testing needs to be done before I rescale this scenario.
I played this one PBEM and it runs quite fine. There is a PO for both sides.

Thanks! Just downloaded it. I had previously downloaded Turning Point 1942 but had not really had a chance to look at it.
I am looking forward to Redux!
Cheers

Ah yes, I remember playing this a bunch of times, nice work !

I saw that the original came with a couple counter sheets with custom icons and colors. The designer said he didn't like the NATO Icons !

That's the sort of thing I'm after!
Me too!
This scenario is very nice, nice, nice.
However, I find companies without a unique designation? [&:]

This one really seems great, I'll wait for a tweaked and tested version but thanks for the job! :)

This is starting to get like Rico with Tigers on the Hunt - tons of scenarios, just as we hoped!

Thanks

What have you got to do with the txt file? Where do you place it to fix the non showing names?
Thanks

Just the units present there. Which company it is, I really can't say... but, if one modifies/adjust the scenario, 1km/hex and 3hrs turns would be fine... kinda like transferring the JTS Panzer Campaigns to TOAW IV.
