Uninstalling the beta patch

Post by spinecruncher »

The beta patch has given the maps a horrid grey hue. How can I uninstall and go to previous version? Thanks

I have a big problem now with this game since the patch (from hell). I have uninstalled the entire game and reinstalled but now the color is all wrong -- completely ugly grey -- and this is now unpatched.

then you didn't wipe the folder totally clean, a uninstall will remove the game, not the beta, which has to be manually removed afterwards sorry

I did. I uninstalled the game program and reinstalled. I uninstalled from the Windows uninstall setting feature.

just using the uninstall maybe doesn't always remove all files, regarding beta ones etc, so a folder delete is sometimes needed so when you come to reinstall, the old files are in there also, which can cause issue as wont get over written as the are later versions etc, if older files, they do, but not always the other way around[:(]

It was my fault. I was manipulating the player video preferences (duh).
