Malta bug - or not

Fury Games has now signed with Matrix Games, and we are working together on the next Strategic Command. Will use the Slitherine PBEM++ server for asynchronous multi-player.

Malta bug - or not

Post by Birdw »

I was playing a game where my opponent had destroyed the AA gun in Malta but did not invade Malta. I operated a Fighter to the island on my turn. On my opponents next turn the first thing he did was drop a German paratrooper onto Malta. Due to my fighter being there it was destroyed. What happened next is where I'm confused. He then proceeded to bomb Malta and my fighter did not intercept at all. I can understand having just fought off the paratroopers why they couldn't intercept but they didn't even intercept the paratroopers. Is this a flaw or design?

Hi birde

Can you check the Fighter's setting, i.e. if it was set to Ground or Escort Only then that would be right?

Nice and bold move to protect Malta, I hope it worked for you, as it must have surprised, and disappointed, your opponent.
