Finding PBEM opponents

Post by Radagy »

Hi guys,

how do I start a new PBEM game in TOAW IV?
Is the interface connected to a Slitherine server (like Fields of Glory 2) or do I have to post a request on the Forum?

Thanks

I'm guessing that the PBEM++ system will organize the challenges and
present them to you so you can accept a challenge from another gamer.
Or create your own challenges for other players to accept. I'm
not sure that there are any challenges however it's so new.
Interviewer: "What is your greatest weakness?"
Elderly Gentleman: "My honesty."
Interviewer: "Well I hardly think that could be a weakness."
Elderly Gentleman: "I don't give a fuck what you think."

The "Play Online" part of the game is exactly like Field of Glory 2.

We have also kept the old "manual" style pbem where you manually e-mail files around, but that is selected as an option when you go to the "new game" section of the game.

I'd definitely recommend to go with Play Online and use our automated server! You can post challenges for others to accept, of course.
