regarding a couple of Egyptian units

Post by budd »

Playing scenario pbem " A taste of Sa'iqa" i'm the Egyptians. Looking over my forces i have some RPG-7 teams with a hard attack of 21 at 2 hexes and also some Commando Squads 71 which carrying an RPG-7 with a hard attack of 3 at 2 hexes, why the difference? The RPG-7 is the only AT weapon the commandos carry, unless your counting the grenades. Is this because weapons in a squad aren't modeled individually?

Think i mentioned this before but let me mention again the scenarios really could use some mission briefings for each side.

I'll let Jason answer about the RPG armed units.

However fully agree with importance of player briefings. We managed to put in briefings to some 20 scenarios for the initial 2.0 release, expect to see them added to other scenarios over the time as well, in a form of a mod pack perhaps once they become available.

Ah, OK, not an error. That was intentional.

The RPG teams were trained in detail more with the anti-tank tactics with RPG teams and had more RPG's than the squads. The commando's are intended, while armed with an RPG, that wasn't their dedicated function, hence the powerful punch up close, but stretching the limits at 500metres.
