RE: UGST for russian submarines
Please add hit-to-kill capability to Aster 15 and Aster 30 missiles (weapons #133, 134 and 578). They have a divert system (called-PIF-PAF) enabling terminal high-g maneuver for ballistic missile interception, and have demonstrated the capability in 3 tests:

Both versions of the 23mm Gsh-23M gun mount carried on the various versions of the Backfire (Twin 600 rnds x 2 on the -B's and 1200 rnds on the -C's) have chaff/flare salvos listed as the weapons carried instead of gun bursts.
This is by design:

RE: Thread for DB3000 database problems, updates or issues
Hi there! I would like to make some corrections on the database regarding my country's armed forces (and request the addition of some units). My question is, how "sourced" do they have to be? I have the information, but some of it is in Portuguese only, and the english info is in sites like wikipedia.
Also, can I request adding some airbases and radar stations from my country (Portugal)? What would I need to give you for that to happen?
In the meantime, I'd like to sugest some corrections, mainly misspelled ship names:
#655 – A 5210 Berrio [Rover Class]
- It should be “Bérrio” instead of “Berrio”
#2623 – F 333 Bartolomeu Diaz [Karel Doorman]
- It should be “Dias” instead of “Diaz”
#1244, #1730, #1731 – F 471 Antonio Enes [João Coutinho Class]
- It should be “António” instead of “Antonio”
#1609 – F 480 Comandante Joao Belo [Mod Commandant Rivière]
- It should be “João” instead of “Joao”
#1610 – F 480 Comandante Joao Belo [Mod Commandant Riviere]
- It should be “João” instead of “Joao”
- It should be “Rivière” instead of “Riviere”
#1243, #2052, #1732 – F 487 Baptiste de Andrade
- It should be “Baptista” instead of “Baptiste”
As soon as I have an answer, I'll give you more goodies!
And last, but not least, thank you for a great game and for listening to your fans!

Arapaho conversion of a freighter.
Standard container freighter with a STOL deck
Capacity for 4 or so aircraft (I think that is what the capacity was)... and they could be VTOLs like Sea Harriers.
It had two 40 millimeter guns p/s, an underway replenishment capability.
I have not been able to find a speed for it.
Any hope?

SM-6 Missile Update [8|]
#1310 - RIM-174A ERAM SM-6MR Blk I
The original version of the SM-6 is not capable of performing the Anti-ASBM task. It was designed as a modern air defense missile with increased OTH range to counter aircraft and modern ASCMs. Various documents and reports point out that a new missile (the Dual I), based on the SM-6 is being used to provide the Navy with an terminal-phase BMD interceptor. (1)(2)
Name:
- RIM-174A ERAM SM-6MR Blk I --> RIM-174A ERAM SM-6 Blk I (Remove Anti-ASBM from sidenote.)
Target Altitude:
- 30 ft AGL - 110000 ft AGL / 9 m AGL - 33000 m AGL (3)
Target Speed:
- 0 - 2300 kt (3)
-----------------------------------------------
#3357 - RIM-174A-2 ERAM SM-6MR Blk IA [Dual I]
Only the SM-6 Dual I introduces a capability to intercept ballistic missiles in the terminal phase of their trajectory while retaining its ability to counter cruise missiles and other air breathing threats, hence the designation SM-6 Dual I. "SM-6 Dual I capability is being added to provide Sea-Based Terminal capability against short-range ballistic missiles." (4) In some documents, of all the SM-6 variants present, only the Dual I is listed as an Aegis BMD interceptor. (2)(4) On another note, the SM-6 Block IA and the SM-6 Dual I are not the same missile as depicted in the game. More on that below.
Name:
#3357 - RIM-174A-2 ERAM SM-6MR Blk IA [Dual I] --> RIM-174A ERAM SM-6 Dual I (Remove Anti-Ship, ABM from side note. Add Anti-ASBM to side note)
Sensors / EW:
- Remove Surface Search ability from Active Radar Seeker
Valid Targets:
- Remove Surface Ships
-----------------------------------------------
Request: RIM-174A ERAM SM-6 Blk IA
The Block IA builds on the technology of the Block I and according to this (5) source also on the Dual I and adds GPS targeting to the missile to engage surface targets.
Date:
- IOC projected 2018 (5)
Sensors / EW:
- Add Surface Search ability to Active Radar Seeker
Properties:
- Add Weapon - INS w/ GPS Navigation (5)
Valid Targets:
- Surface Ships

I was speculated them as hypocritical in DB3000: Tu-144 ceases to produce after a crash and Y-10 ceases to continue the development due to the budget deficiency. If both of them can made it after 1980, then I think they should be added for more alternative-history scenarios.

... oh, I was supposed to post it here. My apologies, I'm retarded.
1. The CEP for the M270 MLARS GPS-guided rockets is off:
2. The TTPV Tomahawks are in the database but lack weapon records. Since Ping Jockey made the effort to actually write out weapon records, I figure I can bestir myself as well. I'm working off the weapon records for the Blk IV TACTOM, surface and submerged, since the TTPV is just a Block IV TACTOM with a different warhead, from everything I've read on it.

That should cover it, I think.
1. The CEP for the M270 MLARS GPS-guided rockets is off:
The GPS-guided rockets for the MLARS have a surprisingly wide CEP: 80 meters. In testing, the GPS-guided weapon impacted only 2.1 meters from its target. Source:
https://www.globalsecurity.org/military ... -g-atd.htm
The ATD culminated on February 11, 1999 with a GPS-aided flight test in which the missile again flew 49 km and impacted only 2.1 meters from the target center, a resounding success.
Obviously a single test from 1998 isn't a solid indicator of regular performance, but official sources seem hell-bent on staying cagey about it. However, various sources peg the M30 rocket's CEP at 5 to 10 meters, and the new M31 - which the vendor's own literature brags about as the "70km sniper rifle" and mentions how its great for avoiding collateral damage with precision strikes - is usually put in the 2 meter range:
https://defenseaerospacenews.wordpress. ... et-system/
Therefore I'd suggest (for the DB3000 database:)
#50 M30 GMLRS ER - (already has a 10 meter Land CEP, so this is fine.)
#2699 M30A1 GMLRS ER - set Land CEP to 2 meters.
#3136 M30A2 GMLRS ER [Alternative Warhead] - set Land CEP to 2 meters.
2. The TTPV Tomahawks are in the database but lack weapon records. Since Ping Jockey made the effort to actually write out weapon records, I figure I can bestir myself as well.
