Hex data incompatible

Post by pontiouspilot »

My new opponent is having issues getting DBB 28 with ext map and stack limits consistent with mine. We keep getting the Hex data different message at start. He tried posting here but received some answer about not being able to without 10 posts....I don't know what that's about but are there any suggestions for fixes. It can't be issue at my end since I have several other games going on with no issues. We are both under the most recent beta. To outward appearances the map loaded successfully since he can see the extra bases/hexes and sees the stack limits. I don't think we ought to proceed with this unresolved.

1) You both must have the same hex data (set of three files).

2) You both must have the correct hex data (set of three files).

You can load the hex data at any time and the game will pick it up next time you load a turn; no starting over required.

It really is that simple.

The consequences for having the wrong hex data can be a lot of screwed up/trapped/lost/whatever TFs and LCU. Go to the DBB web site and download the correct (set of three files) hex data and make sure you both load it.
