Setup turn question...

The new Cold War turned hot wargame from On Target Simulations, now expanded with the Player's Edition! Choose the NATO or Soviet forces in one of many scenarios or two linked campaigns. No effort was spared to model modern warfare realistically, including armor, infantry, helicopters, air support, artillery, electronic warfare, chemical and nuclear weapons. An innovative new asynchronous turn order means that OODA loops and various effects on C3 are accurately modeled as never before.

Setup turn question...

Post by Lowlaner2012 »

Hi there, I fired up the game with the new patch, in the setup phase when I right click a drop down menu comes up giving me options like lay minefield, lay chemical or nuclear contamination, lay fortified position and lots of other editor like options...

Is this WAD or a bug...

Cheers

Big, big bug. [:@] I would strongly advise against using it since it may cause a game crash or unbalance the game. We are aware of the issue and will be working a hotfix as soon as we can.

Thanks for the post!

Could make for a neat game mode though...

You can still use most of them in the scenario editor. [:D]

Waiting to hear back from Rob to see if he can get to it this weekend. He has had a few RL issues this week.

Thanks Capn,

One question.. If you ignore the "editor options" in the setup phase they are not in the following normal turns, will the game run as normal if you carry on?

Cheers

P.S I have played past the setup and the game seems to carry on as normal...

It should run fine. I am testing the hotfix today from Rob and so far it looks good. If we don't find any issues we will pass it on to Matrix Monday to get it in the queue to release.

A quick update. We had two other reports of minor issues and got fixes in for those last night. We will be testing a couple days to make sure things are working and then get the files over to Matrix for their end of things to release it. Thanks for your patience. [8D]

A naming glitch in the OOB for scenario 5 of the school teacher campaign.
An additional adjustment to the infantry ATGM ammo bug. The fix we put in was not as effective as first thought.
