Hello

Post by NikiforosFokas »

Hello to all,
Today i bought the game. I just finished my first scenario the bootcamp 1. Even though i know nearly nothing about the game yet i like it. It is the first time that i play a non-WWII tactical game (i play usual games based on medieval period). So nice to meet you. Oh and the reason i bought it were the fantastics aars which i found on this forum, so a big thank to their authors.

Also welcome to the Campaign Series Middle East Forum!!

Glad to have you here.[:)]

Yes NikiforosFokas as Crossroads said there is a great following here at Matrix games for Campaign Series Middle East.
So if you have any questions or problems with the game please post it in this forum. Someone will reply pretty fast.

There is also a new update to the game coming out in the next few months so make sure not to miss that.

Finally a little farther down the forum index under World War II games is another forum for John Tiller Campaign Series.
It is the same game engine like you experienced in Campaign Series Middle East but it is World War II covering the East Front & West Front in Europe and Pacific theatres of operation.

You may enjoy that too if you haven't seen it yet.

Kind regards!

Big Ivan

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome.
Only one question. Does everyone else had difficult time with bootcamp 2. I mean it is impossible for me to take a minor victory. I destroy some enemy units but never get the point limit to reach the victory conditions. Of course i try it while i read the manual. Is it me or is the mission hard indeed

I do recall Bootcamp 2 was bit of a challenge. A Draw there is a fair result [:)]

Bootcamp 2 is a difficult scenario and has a lot of luck required to get the Major Victory.

I've done it only once in all the testing. Minor Victory is achievable though!

Glad you enjoyed it!

I'm suspecting I will have to redo all the bootcamp videos once we release the 2.00 UPDATE, since it is very significant.

Do I continue with the text bubbles, or should I use voice?

Text bubbles are fine for me. I speak as a non native speaker of english (i am Greek), so it is far easier for me to read than to hear. Again, thanks for these videos. The fact that you get a draw too motivate me to continue to bootcamp 3 without to insist for a win in the bootcamp 2.

Ah yes, that's a good point about non-native English speakers!

Thank you for pointing it out!
