Having the same results as well. Continuing to investigate.

Happens in ver 9 also. Looking for version 7 to try that one.

Also in ver 0. Appears to be a mod configuration problem. I tried removing the bitmaps and other localisations of the mod. This solved some problems I had with bitmap displays but it did not solve the base issue. Still clueless but at least I know what it is not.

I dl'd the '2' version and tried it with v1.09.01. I did it hotseat, ended the German turn 1, and on the Allied turn 1 I went to the Diplomacy Box and got this. Looks like the same result as what the others are having.

I've played as German a lot. I'd like to change. It is a pity this scenario cannot be played as Allies.

I keep getting CTD when I use the reinforce\update tool, I'm not sure if this is because of your mod or the games fault. Any ideas.

Two quick questions. First, loaded game and looks good and only issues that I have found are 1)Unable to purchase any units for any country. Are they blocked from a purchase until a certain date or did I miss something with a download. 2) Is it normal that it takes FOREVER between turns; have a newer computer so should not be a issue (Core I7 processor and 16 mg ram)> Any thoughts there? Probably 3 to 4 minutes between turns.

Hi hitech,

1) When units are in red this means they are not yet available. This feature is used in many mods to prevent players from buying units before they were historically available or for game balance/design features. I believe most of these units will be available on or after September 1st, 1939.

2) The "slow" AI turns and player turn phases are because of the size and complexity of the mod. It takes time to process all those events over such a complex map and large map (329 X 199 vs 267 X 137 for standard scenario). You can turn off some of the game's display features or use the NATO counters to speed up the program execution.

Curious as to your rig. Which i7 do you have? My turns were not too long with an i7 6850K which is a little slower than the Skylakes and Kabylakes.

Your lucky, I was getting between 8-10 minutes between turns by 1940.

Hitech,

i7 6700 @4 GHz is respectable enough. You should be able to see some improvement by reducing display options. Are you using the Intel graphics or a separate graphics card? The game graphics are not too difficult to render so either should be fine but you might get a little more speed with a stand alone card. I have a laptop with an older chip and on-board graphics. It runs the mod at a "decent" speed but is noticeably slower (only about 2.5 GHz) than my PC.

Hi Cantona66,

Link doesn't work or file was removed/disabled. Is this intentional?[&:]

What was the fix? There are several png files which are not the right size in the Bitmaps and Interface folders (too small) but replacing them does not seem to fix the problem.

Thanks in advance,

Will
