I´m going to travel today, I will be back in one week, as Japan plays an insignificant role in the game, I will sent my password to IronDuke, so he can play Japan´s turns.

Soviets advance continues.

This month I eliminated the cut off units in China...captured Wuhan and Chungking..am eliminating the British units cut off in Africa (d$%n mountains) and pushing south again now that I finished the road.

In fact the mountains are more a hindrance to me that the Chinese or British. Only the Americans are slowing my advance and now that I have the New IS2 I have a match to the American M-26's. Also just to be an aggressive player I've attacked a US carrier fleet off the coast of China...sinking 1 CV3, 7 CV2, 1 CV1, 8 Destroyers II and shooting down many Naval Fighters IV and some SDT (something like that) losing lots of aircraft in return (USA lose 900+ power points Russia lose 500)..next time I will commit even more aircraft to anti naval actions if the Americans insist on keeping their fleets too close to the shore.

The Germans are doing a good job of stablizing the Korean Front while I destroy the Chinese front...I plan on cutting the Chinese nation into parts which I will destroy later. China joined the wrong side in this conflict (the aggressors and violators of international laws).

The "We will never surrender" speech of Prime Minister Churchill echoes through the white isle on the radio, on T.V. and in the hearts, minds, and souls of every man, woman, and child under the crown. The Germans destroy the cities by night only to be rebuilt by day. Planes fall and new ones, faster ones, are built. The will of England can never be broken. God save the Queen.

Good morning, although all my turns take time, this one always takes a long time. I have been trying to get some shorter ones moving along.

I will get to 23 soon.

Sorry.

1st February 1943

The loss of the carriers to a Soviet airstrike was caused by a high command mistake. The sailors who lost their lives fought well.

The US forces caused the Soviets losses, as always, perhaps with the extra motivation of the attack on the carriers.

The Italian Air Force hits Manchester with a massive raid... and takes heavy losses although we did a moderate amount of damage to the city. The Spitfire IXs were very capable fighters, and the experienced pilots did some damage, but at least we shot down 8 or so. The Italian Air Force has a new high level fighter that should start making an appearance as an escort for our high level bombers soon.

Soviet advance as China & US forces retreat from Central China's plains. Soviet troops capture Hanoi and advance south toward Saigon. 3rd Army is now just outside Canton. 1st Mobile Army advances toward Shanghai. Heavy reinforcements arrive near Vladivostok. 4th Army units continue to pursue British forces hiding in the mountains of Ethiopia while one of it's units makes contact with German units near Salisbury. Many of my units cannot even enter the mountainous terrain so I am creating some infantry only units to force the enemy from the mountains--no weapons needing horses or trucks to move. I expect the 3rd Army will clear out enemy units from Southern China soon but Central and Northern China will not be so easy.

My mouse is acting weirdly...moving the cursor to the bottom, top or sides without me doing anything. I briefly went back to my old mouse which is not acting this way...but my carpal tunnel syndrome came back with a vengeance so I had to plug my vertical mouse back into the computer. Since I am leaving to see the eclipse soon I am putting off ordering a new mouse until I get back....and I remind everyone I will be gone between August 13rd to August 25th.

I'm back and waiting patiently for my turn. Tired but hope to be back in full gaming mode soon. Still having problems with my ISP...getting very impatient with the ISP.
But I don't have a lot of choices out here...

Ditto game 24 would the British Chinese or Japanese player like to take over the USA or any other player who like to step into the game.

Hello to my fine Chinese ally,

I hope to get back to this game, but I am playing nine games, and this one just takes too much time. A turn takes a full day, and then "here comes another one". ArmouredLion would just as soon let it go, but I would prefer to archive it till I have more time. I have started three courses at the local college, two of which are computer programming courses with lots of programs. I am trying hard to keep up with the other games, some of which are pretty quick right now, but there is always potential for each to expand.

I am sorry I took on so many games, and have to slow down now. I realize my mistake in doing so affects other players. I would have it otherwise.

Hey Chuck! Since I got let go from my job of 29.5 years last December as they moved to another state, I have been in community college re-training, taking 3 days of courses and at least a day of homework and seems harder to learn at 59, so I appreciate the difficulty of getting turns done. I will be happy to either wait until you can do a turn, or let the game go if that's what everyone wants. In this game I am Italy, and am a minor ally of Germany, and have no problem giving my password to the German player to take over Italy if he wants. Anyways, thanks to everyone for their excellent play in this game.

This game either ended as a draw or put on hold... I came on board late, at the very end of the game. I'd continue if needed to defend the island of Masada... most of my games have ended or collapsed. But Chuck is super busy with college and I think at the very least it's on hold, Larry. Man, now I have oodles of time and no one wants to play... figures.

Just seeing if anyone was paying attention to this AAR....As someone who spent most of his time in College fooling around (and still graduated with a 3.0 average probably would have had a 3.9 if I actually did any of the homework)--I can understand why some find it hard...If I don't understand something no amount of homework will help me understand it and IF I did understand I did not need the homework to sink the subject into my mind. I was 29 when I got my second degree from ASU (Arizona State University) in Accounting (top 10% of my class)..
