War in the West will conquer your bookshelf!

Gary Grigsby’s War in the West 1943-45 is the most ambitious and detailed computer wargame on the Western Front of World War II ever made. Starting with the Summer 1943 invasions of Sicily and Italy and proceeding through the invasions of France and the drive into Germany, War in the West brings you all the Allied campaigns in Western Europe and the capability to re-fight the Western Front according to your plan.

Just got my physical copy of War in the West today. I'm quite impressed with the speed in which it was delivered as I was notified that it was being shipped on the 15th and received it on the 17th. The physical manual is the best one I've ever seen for a computer game and I've been playing them for a very long time. Kudos to Matrix and 2By3 Games for a great product. Now on to Victory (that is as soon as I can figure out how to do that [:)])!!!
The enemy invariably attacks on one of two occasions: 1. When you're ready for them. 2. When you're not ready for them.

The hardback color manual was the tipping point for my purchase decision. After hearing and seeing it, there was no going back. 0.0

I'm afraid we have no way of doing that on the store side right now, but it's actually at the top of our list of store improvements, to allow owners of download versions to "upgrade" to the physical version after purchase. So hang on, it may be possible soon.

Regards,

- Erik

Any news about this feature ? Looking forward to have thé book.

Last I heard a few weeks ago it was one of the next games that would be given the upgrade option. Sounded like it was a month or two away, but don't quote me on that.
