i have not found the private forum or got a invite yet. I do like this game! i like the presentation and operational scope. I noticed a few graphics problems such as the attack arrows staying out in the med when zoom. otherwise i am impressed with the simplicity and chrome added. I only played the tutorial and the bardia scenario and tooled around and still learning. I forsee expansions into other theaters and time periods etc. In the meantime is there more specifics in the testing you would like?

When those attack arrows remain, is there an Error.txt file in your "My Games/DesertWar"?
Can you reproduce it (by for example reloading a save game -- all turns have a save file in "My Games/DesertWar/saves")?

I have an invitation for the beta team of Desert War as "K1943" and I got the link for the beta test forum. But when I click on it I get the message "Access is denied. You either don't have the right to access or have attempted to access private area".
Since there was a conflict due to multiple user names in Slitherine-Matrix sites I asked from Slitherine support to consolidate my accounts.
They consolidated my accounts under the user name "SquadLeader1977".
Now when I try log in using user name K1943 I get the message
"There is no such user in our database
You can click here to register an account.
go back?"
When I use my e-mail address or my user name SquadLeader1977 I have not access to beta test forum and I get the message: ""Access is denied. You either don't have the right to access or have attempted to access private area".
What I have to do?
