I guess Mike read the thread on the Steam forums as well.

I'm definitely looking forward to this - it may not be as button-pushy as Dangerous Waters, but I've been looking for a good replacement for a while. DW is not very stable on windows 10.

I for one like the looks of it.Even it does compete in some way with command hope they do well with it.

Looks graphically a little like the old Sierra Fast Attack, which is a game I loved.

EDIT: Went back and looked at Youtube of Fast Attack. Man that was dated but cool

i Seriously doubt that, how can it directly compete with command? all CW simulates is sub warfare and you're limited to what subs you can have and theres' just 6 weapons to choose from.

They're different animals. Commands strengths is its huge arrange of units with weapons/decoys/sensors and being able to create a scenario anywhere in the world with no time restriction. The strength of CW is the dynamic campaigns that can be started in 1968 or 1984 and the graphics. It is a sim too, like Command is, but a sub sim only like i said with only a few different subs and its actually just 5 different weapons with the other being a torpedo decoy (i think).
It also only mentions realistic sonar modelling, no mention of radar or ESM/jamming.

Female submariners might make the game graphically interesting. Otherwise a dud from a game play POV. Ground warfare has it beat already:

Is this the same engine as silent hunter?

Explosions all seem the same.

Don't see how this competes with Command. CNS nailed it pretty much in his comment.

Back in the day I played RSR quite a bit ("Trapped Under Ice" owes a lot to the late-in-campaign SSBN hunt that you have to do). I think this is going to be a quality title and it's definitely on my list. It's different to CMANO in depth, breadth and scope and that's perfectly fine.

Yea, these are entirely two different games. Sadly this game seems postponed to Q3.

I think it is safe say that Release is very close, the devs just uploaded the manual to the steam store page:

http://cdn.akamai.steamstatic.com/steam ... 1496333434

I would love if they added, post-release, support for voice commands.
