Question about controlling hexes

Fury Games has now signed with Matrix Games, and we are working together on the next Strategic Command. Will use the Slitherine PBEM++ server for asynchronous multi-player.

Question about controlling hexes

Post by Birdw »

I have seen several times where if I give a unit a hex to move to in enemy territory it will go there but none of the hexes except the one it occupies at the end of the turn are captured. This happens in spite of no enemy units being present. Now if I move that same unit to the same location one hex at a time ownership does change hands. Is this a feature?

Hi Birde,

No this is a bug that we fixed a little while ago for the v1.03.01 Beta release. One option is to upgrade to this version or to re-enable UNDO MOVES for your games (if possible) as this only happens when UNDO MOVES is disabled for v1.03 or earlier.

Note, if you are playing PBEM++ using v1.03 then you might want to wait until we update to v1.04 (which will be soon) as using the Beta releases will not allow you to continue playing your v1.03 PBEM++ games in progress.

Hope this helps,
Hubert
