All my units lost color, without change of command

Between turns 67 and 68, all of my Axis units went to the default color for their command. No units have changed commands (at first I thought I had released Army Group B, but I have not yet taken the appropriate locations to release it).

This is a Human v AI game.
I've never seen this happen before.

In further proof that I am a dubma$$,

I opened the settings menu and found that the "Show/Hide Army/Front Colors" checkbox had become un-checked.

One can only assume that I did this.
So the mystery is solved.
