This is my favorite Paradox game.
The cons is the ton of DLC (although they are not needed in any way), the ammount of daughters you will get when what you NEED is a son, and ofc that your court physician threats your diarrhea by cutting off your hand...

I had Byzantine ruler who suffered from three different bad illness events (the ones that get progressively worse in a short period of time, might be DLC related). He ended up with one eye, one hand and one leg, but still managed to sire four sons and win two wars lol. Not sure if it was because I had a really great physician (skill was perhaps 18 or so I think) or perhaps the physician had some trait that made him desire to cut off body parts.

It is a game that is about the persons, not the country really. J2JonJermey is imo the perfect youtuber to watch if you want to watch someone play this game.

That aside, it is a really fun game, but it can become somewhat easy after a certain point, as you can reach a snowballing effect, but fun nontheless.
