While the BETA application says use your forum login actually you need enter login from http://www.matrixgames.com/ (if it is different than forum) At least for me it worked that way.

For your information, in theory, if you apply the procedure for getting your anniversary coupon, you could merge your three accounts (matrix, matrix forum and slitherine forum).

Do we have a timeline as to when the beta testing will start or if we were selected/accepted to be a part of the team?

Hello. I am not a regular at the forum, but I have kept my eye on TOAW IV for some time. Looking forward to the release. For what it's worth, I submitted the application for beta, though I don't expect much - the regulars should have the advantage, and I am probably late anyway.

Probably not the right thread to ask this, but I am wondering what is the expexted release timeframe? Can you at least ballpark it?

I have tried several times to apply for this beta, but i keep getting an error message saying my forum account does not exist, My forum account is exactly the same as my www.matrixgames.com account, so it should not be a problem....

What is this ? A cruel joke?

Sorry that you have problems to apply, did you merge your accounts? (See my above post)

I have had my accounts merged by matrix/slitherine support, but I guess the forum account did not get merged. So I had to login into the slitherine forum, which has a different pw. So once I logged into slitherine, and used that pw for the beta registration process, it worked. Kind of strange how this rogue login has all the details, but appears to be separate for me.

Oh well, registered now. I was thinking the registration process was part of a test to determine worthiness [;)]

I have no idea how to logon half the time, sometimes my logon works other times it does not. Can never get logged in exactly where I want, no idea if I signed up for the beta or not,I too get this merged account thing but can't logon to slitherine side, too frustrating so I just give up and go on playing my games and reading the forums every so often.

Im wondering the same thing as karri, i really want to help in the development of this game.
Then again I imagine their were plenty of other applicants meaning it may be some time before many of them hear of anything.

Same here... alas, after numerous attempts I was able to send the application... would be nice to be part of the team in order to get my 'Schwerpunkt Kharkov' project updated - https://gefechtsstand.wordpress.com/201 ... v-project/

Applied, I also spread the word to a board that was very active regarding TOAW with a good AAR section about it. I still remember an AAR called "Die Armee greift an - im Osten brennts", it was about the Fire in the East scenario, was a damned great AAR.
