There are maps. If it didn't have any or one or two I would have mentioned it.

With most military history you have to have maps, and the more the better.

I am like you about maps.

Thank you, Sulla05. I will have go on Amazon now [:)]

Not many games covering this either. TOAW3 and I think Operation Star has Iran in a dlc, but maybe not Iraq.

I need to sort it where if someone uses a link to amazon to the book from the review we get some commission...will happen if they choose something that randomly comes up currently..but no joy there:)

You can play tactical-level skirmishes set during this war with WinSPMBT.

Not sure if this is a similar case but I hate it when people give something one star because it arrived late, or they thought it was going to be fiction, or the book wasn't the one they ordered etc and not how good the book was..I expect even more annoying for authors!

It is a little confusing. Mainly because you have five other highly regarded history book review sites that said they liked the book.

There is of course no way to account for personal likes and dislikes. I am reading a book right now about the 1864 Nashville campaign during the Civil war. It is an excellent book but there is not a map to be found. I had to go to Wikipedia to really understand where who was when.
