The Great War Channel https://www.youtube.com/user/TheGreatWar a must see if you're interested in a Week to week update of the events that took place a 100 years ago.

They also have a Instagram page with a lot of random WW1 related photos of battlefields, posters, people and equipment with ofcourse a bit of it's backstory: https://www.instagram.com/the_great_war/?hl=es

Bummer. This only goes back to July 1922...still all the WW2 issues are there. Same for Popular Science [:)]

I have not seen them before as far as I know.

This headline on the right caught my eye. Completely unrelated, "Police Say Trucker On LSD, Cocaine, Meth Drove From Seattle To MA Without Resting"

The WW2 Popular Mechanics and Popular Science are very interesting. You get to see all the technological developments and the massive U.S. industrial effort. In 1939 they still look very 1930s and old fashioned but by 1945 they are much more modern.

By then, with American servicemen all over the world, there are lots of excellent maps, the graphical style is completely updated and they have a much more internationalist outlook. Before Pearl Harbor, they're quite insular and ethnocentric. Definitely worth a look.
