Sherman & the Woodchopper

Post by Lowpe »

Visited Fort Campbell this weekend, and I saw the absolutely nicest Sherman I think I have ever seen...no paint scheme like the one at the entrance to West Point has...but this one was just immaculate!

Also I saw a great C-47 and the Meat Chopper (also immaculate).

Both the Meat Chopper and the Sherman are used for special pictures to this day and is why they are maintained so well. I will post some pictures tomorrow when I get back.

A Gooney in action to hold you over.[:)]

I am not a native speaker of English, but can it be said that you saw "a perfectly manicured Sherman" then?
