zWhat folder are you installing the game to? This might also be causing the problem with Random Campaign Generator. Windows has some special file permissions on that folder I think.

I've installed and uninstalled Panzer Command on my Win 10 system quite a few times.

Windows 10 does end up with an uninstall.exe in that folder, and I checked it's attributes and it shows as Read-only. But like I said, it hasn't caused a problem for installing or uninstalling for me.

Did you get this error when installing, or when uninstalling?

Thanks
Rick

Did run it as administrator. There is no uninstall.exe that I can see (have set View options to show hidden files). There is an install.dat in the Uninstall folder.

Installing in c:\matrix games\panzer command ostfront

Other computer with Windows 7 (one with RBG problem) had no such install problem.

Thanks,

Gerry

Do you have another machine to install on? I know you probably tried to install it a few times?

I know anti virus at times causes a problem also can you run the game in Windows 7?

Yes, my home machine is using Windows 7 and it installed there and plays.

Traveling at the moment. The computer it won't install on is a Surface Pro 3 running Windows 10, which is my preferred travel device.

Take care.

if it doesn't have the correct hardware and drivers supported for the game to work, it will fail on load, works on windows 10 fine, home and pro, tested both with no issues.

most install issues are either permissions or firewall / antivirus ones etc

Hey, great! It would be remiss of not to suggest that you try generating a campaign on your other machine with antivirus turned off.

Thanks
