Refueling tutorial/Use speed and altitude override

Post by madasgardian »

Repost from Steam as requested, with additional info:
For the life of me, I cannot find "Use speed and altitude override" in any Mission Editor dropdown. Am I missing something obvious?

Now the mission editor will open. Take the following actions:
- Near the bottom right, set transit altitude to 36000, and station altitude to 22000.
- In the bottom middle, change Mission profile setting to "Use speed and altitude override".

Version is Command v1.11 Service Release 7 - Build 906.24. Screenshot attached.

I just noticed that there are two versions of this tutorial, and this step is missing in the instructions for one of them:

Tomcat84s Tutorials - Air-to-Air Refueling.scen:

Now the mission editor will open. Take the following actions:
- Near the bottom right, set transit altitude to 36000, and station altitude to 22000.
- Add the KC-135R with the callsign Quid #69 to this mission.

Tomcat84s Tutorials - Air-to-Air Refueling 001.scen:

Now the mission editor will open. Take the following actions:
- Near the bottom right, set transit altitude to 36000, and station altitude to 22000.
- In the bottom middle, change Mission profile setting to "Use speed and altitude override".
- Lastly, add the KC-135R with the callsign Quid #69 to this mission.

That's because the "001" version is meant for an earlier version of CMANO. The "Use speed and altitude override" profile setting is now automatic if speed or altitude is set in the mission editor.

The tutorial without the "001" is the proper version to use with v1.11.
