P-40B Armament

Post by 56ajax »

In the game the P-40B is equipped with only 2 x .50 machineguns in the nose but most references I have seen also said it had 6 x .30 machine guns in the wings.

Is this a deliberate omission for the game?

(I have seen a reference that some Russian units removed the wing guns).
Molotov : This we did not deserve.

Foch : This is not peace. This is a 20 year armistice.

Soviets removed small caliber wing guns to lighten the US aircraft and because they considered the guns to be rather useless.
