4-player AAR Game 4

Post by Mayhemizer_slith »

Hello everyone!

We are going to start two more games so that after these 4 games every player has played every major power.

In this game we have all the same rules and house rules as before (If anyone notices mistake in optional rules, please tell me asap).

House rules:
-USSR - Japan pact (Basically playing the normal rules but without markers so based upon Garrison ratios. No attack in '39, and needs 2:1 in '40 for Japan or USSR to declare war).
-Only strategic bombing allowed as a night mission (all other missions must be performed by day).
-No strategic bombers 'teleport' behind a fighter screen. (Rules to be announced later).

This time we are playing as follows:
warspite1 Italy/Japan
Orm Germany
Mayhemizer CW/US/Nationalist Chinese
AllenK France/USSR/Communist Chinese

We decided not create more secret threads. Both sides will have one thread for Axis and one thread for Allies. When we comment games, we refer to game 1, game 2 etc.

Game 1 is our priority, then 2, 3 and 4. So game 4 will advance slowest.

If your attack is going really well, it's an ambush.

The optional rules looks good.

And the added standing order that no submarines will be included in port strikes. Until cancelled, that is.

For clarification and my memory.

To break the pact you need 2:1 but the defensive garrison value is modified depending on year. So in reality the value needed is as follows.

4:1 in '40
2:1 in '41
1:1 in '42
2:3 in '43
1:2 in '44 and '45

Isn't this Game 3?

The only way to get good at playing your favorite/preferred Major Power is to play it's main enemy Major Power.

Nah, Game 3 is about to get started as well. In that game I get the honour to playing the Soviet Empire. Saving the civilization, as we know it, from destruction.

In this game, game 4, I get the honour of saving the civilization from the evil shackles of Democracy.

Yeah.. the quote by Churchill about it only being fair the Germans get the Italians as allies in WW2 since the CW had them in WW1 is quite appropriate.

The Italians are the most fun to play. When they get a good die roll, it's awesome.
