I need a bit of help with text editing

I can do pretty much anything in the way of modding now, but there is one thing I cannot do: add text. After I add a new city and change its properties and name it, the name never appears on the map and I can't figure out how to edit text to make it happen. Can somebody please walk me through it? Thanks.

On a sidenote, I began wargaming exactly 50 years ago today when I received a copy of Avalon Hill's Blitzkrieg as a birthday present.

I notice the first font available on scroll list (orator Std Medium) doesnt work.
Use any other one and then should be ok
