I'll be following this up with an op/tac level survey.

Wrong screenshot for Commander: The Great War :)

I have all of them. I've played Battlefront's the most, but I don't care for the fact I have to disable the video card to play it.
Watched a documentary on beavers. Best dam documentary I've ever seen.

Yes, CTGW and SC WW I look so similar and I was so exhausted that I had trouble distinguishing them.

By far CTGW is my favorite despite being unfinished.. As far as SCWWI goes, it's OK to an extent, but surely needs a remake like SCWWIII that was recently released, then it would be the balls. These 2 are what I consider action games, whereas in TEAW the player does not actually have a hand in the combat. It's been so long since playing GOA 1914, I've forgotten what it is like. Personally, if CTGW was done in a divisional scale with matching maps would be the ticket for me..[;)]

The only thing wrong with SCWWI is the lack of hexes.

The ability to attack from odd angles is a big minus in my view.

Hopefully, someone will redo it for the new version.

The other aspect of SCWWI is that a player cannot spam units like in CTGW, that's a problem area with CTGW. Also prefer the diplomat choices with SCWWI over CTGW.
