43rd BG Arrival Date

Post by afspret »

Just curious, but is there any reason for having all the units of the 43rd BG arriving in the Eastern USA on 420701? According to several sources I've checked, they actually started arriving in Oz in March 1942.

Probably the developers wanted to give the Allied player the option of deciding where to deploy them, given that the game might proceed differently from RL.

The delay might have something to do with filling out the TOE. IRL I am sure squadrons were deployed with whatever aircraft were available at the time.
