Strategic Command goes Napoleonic!

Fury Games has now signed with Matrix Games, and we are working together on the next Strategic Command. Will use the Slitherine PBEM++ server for asynchronous multi-player.

Strategic Command goes Napoleonic!

Post by Daniele »

Strategic Command WWII: War in Europe is – without a doubt – an excellent wargame, succeeding in being a title with strong historical connections, while allowing credible deviations at the same time for experimental players.

So, it was only a matter of time that someone would create a Napoleonic Mod for Strategic Command!

This specific mod in is called “Rise and Fall of an Empire” and it aims to recreate the struggle for supremacy in the Old Continent during the turmoil of the Napoleonic wars!

Even if the mod is still a Work in Progress the quality and the amount of work so far is outstanding!

Kudos to kirk23, SIPRES, and to everyone is collaborating!

For a second i feared this might be the next official release!

What a relief to see that is will be an upcoming mod.

Nothing against Napoleonic times, but, great scott, that was a close one!

I think it would be better that the counters are more homogeneous; fleet counters should have the square shape as they are in the vanilla version of the game.

Have you seen the revised versions, they're much nicer?

It's not available to download yet, it's a lot of work! You can read about it's development here, though: tm.asp?m=4210171&mpage=1&key=

Yes, but I'm assuming that will change before the mod is released
