I am getting the same problem, but I have two games on server and one of them saved fine, the other is stuck on a repeated 'error 42'.

Yes for some reason the first time it happened I lost all my progress and it went to the menu, now it just goes back to the game with my current progress and the error message.

I did send a finished turn earlier which worked fine, so I wonder if there is any difference between saving or ending turn? Im not keen to find out and lose hours of work though...

I have gotten the same error twice now. I can save the turn, but not finish it?

I misspoke, I actually was trying to send the turn to my opponent, rather than saving the position.

If you have the problem, keep trying, it will work eventually after many tries.

no other new reports today, but let us know if it is still causing you any issues, as it may just be a local loop issue and not a server based one at this end

I got this too on both of my games. For some reason yesterday the other game was OK, but today both games are giving error. After the error, the game is not loadable, doesn't give any error when trying to load though, just crashes the game.
