Which game is this?

Fury Games has now signed with Matrix Games, and we are working together on the next Strategic Command. Will use the Slitherine PBEM++ server for asynchronous multi-player.

Which game is this?

Post by JonBrave »

Let me see if I understand correctly?

This game is "Strategic Command WW2 War in Europe", and it's by Fury Software, right?
There is "Time of Fury" (similar screenshots, they also use round-3D icons), by "Wasteland Interactive".
Then there is "Time of Wrath" and "Strategic War in Europe" which are real similar to "Time of Fury".
And I think Matrix sells some of those.
I keep buying them by accident under different names.

So *this* game is nothing to do with the others, a different franchise??
Meanwhile I see Fury Software has "Strategic Command - European Theater", but that is an old incarnation??

These names are getting soooo confusing... :(

This game isn't the games you are worried about. It's the latest and greatest edition of Strategic Command which used to sell elsewhere but is now selling thru Matrix. It's great and brand new.

That is a good start! I seem to have bought each of the ones I named, not realising they were 95% the same game :(

It's the same game, just at its latest evolution.
Maybe different brand, but it's pratically -the same- in how it works.

As said, and I underline, it's the latest evolution.

It can change map scale, hexes instead of squares, but it is the same affair.

It is nothing to do with the "Time of" series by Wastelands Interactive. It is a sequel to the Strategic Command series.

Sorry, but that is a [:@] completely wrong [:-] information, this game has NOTHING AT ALL to do with "Time of Fury", "Time of Wrath" or "Strategic War in Europe".

You can find a brief inforomation on the Strategic Command Series by using this link.

And here some infos in regard of the Wasteland Interactive games you've mentioned.

My links are refering to a german webside, but I still think you get the general idea...
