Question for Vic:Supply/replacement & reinforcements question

Post by lion_of_judah »

Vic
say capital A, is set to priority 1 and it falls and capital B is set to priority 2. Do I need to change anything in the replacement and reinforcement tables or when capital A falls will B kick in and take it's place in distributing supplies, reinforcements and replacements. Thanks

Indeed. Only thing I think you got wrong is that the the higher that the priority works inverse. For your example to work set capital A to priority 2 and capital B to priority 1.

Best wishes,

thanks for responding so fast... So if I do this, then in the supply, replacement and reinforcement tabs I can leave them set to priority 1 and all will work fine, nothing else will need to be done.

You need to set the Capitol with the highest number as the one you want the game to start with. Then if that is conquered, a lower numbered one will kick in.

Have another question. Once I've set Pusan to priority 1 and Seoul to Priority 2, in the category part do I leave both as 1 or set A to 2 and B to 1 Thanks.

The category number is the ID referred to by supply, replacement and reinforcement tables.

So use the same category number for all potential capitols.

If the supply table wants to give 1000 supply to capitol category 1 it does the following
* check all capitols owned by player with category 1
* pick the one with the highest priority
* give the supplies to this hex
