Questions

Fury Games has now signed with Matrix Games, and we are working together on the next Strategic Command. Will use the Slitherine PBEM++ server for asynchronous multi-player.

Questions

Post by BlueMak »

1. What are the options (if any) for end game conditions.
2. Is there a time limit?
3. How many days/weeks/whatever is each turn? Changes according to time of the year?
4. Are there partisan units and can they be turned off if so desired?
5. Is there supply/fuel for units, or is it more abstract?
6. The physical release, is it DRM free?
7. Is there in game music and if yes, can it be turned off?
8. sound effects? Audio levels?
9. Are there options to disable a side?
10. Is there an option to continue the war if the allies win, by fighting each other? For example if Germany loses, have Allies vs USSR?

1. There are victory conditions, and an option to look them up. Not sure in which direction your question was aimed. Do you want to check how far you have come to victory?
2. Game ends somewhere in 1947 if no one has won before this date
4. Yes, there are partisans. I know of no regular way to turn them off, but the game comes with an editor, which means that you could dectivated them in your own mod.
5. There is supply, but right now no single fuel (fuel is part of the supply level). I guess this will be part of a later release.
7. Yes, there is ingame music, and yes, you can deactivate it
8. Yes and yes.
9. Disable no, but you can let the AI control any power you don't want to command on your own.
10. No, currently not.

1. I meant if there are options for vicotry like "capture all VPs", "hold these objectives for X turns", "capture capital X&Y", etc.
2. Too bad.
9. That's a shame. It would have been nice to disable a side.
10. Not surprised, but a shame.

Thank you.

You can always change the setting, even while playing the game.

Just click on the "options" button, click on the flag of the nation you want to give / take to AI control, and confirm.

To check if the nation is under AI control just watch out for the blue circle and info:

Hi

The Victory Conditions are described on the last page of each campaign's Strategy Guide, and these guides can be found in the Manuals folder of the game's main installation folder. They are well worth a look. [;)]

As to Partisans, they are all triggered by scripts and scripts can be turned off if you'd rather play a game without any Partisans.

When starting or in a campaign go to Options -> Advanced -> Scripts and uncheck scripts of the relevant type to turn them off.
