See two proposed operational ideas from CSBA at 22:30.

I thought the first idea might make for interesting scenarios. For example, F35Bs STOVL rapidly deploying inside the threat ring to very rough temporary ABs. The F35Bs job is not strike but CAP to take out enemy A/C and SAMs trying to knock down friendly in-coming standoff weapons. Amphibious assault ships would provide ground troops to establish/secure the AB and logisitics to supply and move the AB along the coast leap frog style. Maybe this has been discussed here, but it is new to me.
