Veteran’s Day

To those who served, thank you.

To wounded warriors, God bless you.

To the KIAs, we’ll toast you when we get there.

My sister Jeri finally thanked me for my service in Nam but that was like 40 years ago and
now any thanks are really too damn little too damn late. Remember how we were treated
at the airports coming home? I don't like being called a baby killer. Yeah, it still hurts.
If you need to put warheads on foreheads who you gonna call? An FO...just one will do.

Know exactly what you experienced. I came back through San Francisco and there certainly was no parade.

What did make me feel good was seeing troops retuning from Afghanistan and Iraq given a hero’s welcome. They served, they fought, they deserve the gratitude of every American. Can’t write enough words to make this point clearer.

More still serve today. The branch doesn't matter, Semper Fi.

Lest we forget
Thought for the day:
If you feel like doing some work, sit down and wait....... The feeling does go away.
