How many aircraft are in the reserves and how many airbases are you operating from? You don't seem to lack air support.

middle push.

My goals are defeat Hungary before summer ends.

Here I want to use land corridor which will head North west toward Berlin. East of the Oder.

end news

Post by BrianG »

Pelton has resigned this game.

side note: it would be nice to see the games final positions and info (both sides)after resignation or victory. Alas, all post game analysis is just hearsay[&:]

He resigned only 6 months from the end of the game effectively?

Mud would have bought him some time in another 2 months or game play as well...not to mention his army should be condensing to form a very solid mass close to Berlin for the final month or two.

Bah Humbug on the resignation!

Early mud really did in Pelton as I saved industry due too.

His failure to attempt Rumanian border stop is wrong in my mind.
Plus he did not do a great job in spotting the rr hexes in Rumania

Pelton said 'we know the outcome', and he was using too much time in making his moves, in our game. Thus resigned.

Does that mean he thinks I was going to capture Berlin in 1944. I am not so sure.

Ah well. I learned a lot. And using level planes should be required.(damn the truck hogs)
I never had good truck ratios throughout.

This is the furthest I've gone as Russian.

One game left : Sillyflower will have to earn his total victory! We want nukes!

It is a bit sad that Pelton resigned, it would have been interesting to see how this plays out.
His failure to attempt Rumanian border stop is wrong in my mind.
Plus he did not do a great job in spotting the rr hexes in Rumania
What do you mean? Somewhere Pelton or you mentioned a Romanian surrender trick, what does this mean? Place everything in a way that everything is converted back to German control because it is out of supply and not in ZOC?

Pelton is a good player but he has a problem with thinking out of the box. That's why he can never win against a good player like you. Also, he never plays the Soviets which is really required to fully understand the game. Good job!

Well done Brian, that's a good win.

Agree with Bozo that Pelton could improve his game if he played some Soviet campaigns against good Axis players.
