Heroes of Normandie

Was uncertain at first about the way you've gone with the cartoon over the top style..however I think it works and may actually grow to love it.

Woodin,

I agree, at most it is something different. I will most likely be in.

The more I watch the more I like it..it shows off that side of the game which is I good thing I reckon rather than try and hide it and come across as uber serious wargame. It looks like FUN. Definately the best looking and feels right board game conversion so far... by a long way.

Surprised a video game about this board game is coming out so quick. I think it was only last year the board game was on a kick starter program wasn't it?

gameplay looks nice and serious, but the pics of soldiers look kinda silly, I mean, for example, the second German officer looks like a zombie... slightly off-putting...

edit:
the art style seems like in comic books

but generally might be worth giving it a go

Wow, they really did a nice job combining the feel of a boardgame with the possibilities of a video game.

Wonder if their will do the "Shadows over Normandie"
A few weeks after D-Day, a U.S. Ranger Company lost in Normandie has to confront the terrifying power of the Nazis' Cult of the Black Sun. Allied with an ancient Deep Ones tribe, the Cult of the Black Sun is preparing a dark ceremony to summon the great Cthulhu.

It was part of the KS board game expansion. It's kinda follows the main game into darkness or whatever they call this type of game type. Shadows Over Normandie is the module that moves the game into the dark territory. Hollywood war movie meets the prince of darkness [:'(]

The game features three opposing armies controlled by the players. These forces include the German Cult of the Black Sun, the ancient Deep Ones and the US Rangers. Each force is made up of infantry, tanks or creatures and of course, heroes and villains. Each unit has its own set of unique characteristics and skills depicted on the high quality chunky tokens.
