Sure is a lot of traffic for south western Greenland eh.
Wargame, 05% of the time.
Play with Barbies 05% of the time.
Play with Legos 10% of the time.
Build models 20% of the time
Shopping 60% of the time.
Exlains why I buy em more than I play em.

Just a light hearted look at the map, nothing political. Has Greenland not become a Mac-Mart.

MrsWargamer's observation is interesting - Looking at the map on my tablet with vivid color, instead of my computer, there is alot of ship traffic just up and down that part of Greenland.

Tourist maybe. Or like planes are used in Alaska is it the same for boats in Greenland.

The Arctic North (or South for that matter) are not conducive sea travel...

I didn't mean it in political terms, just in terms too much or still room to grow?

I didn't mean it in political terms, just in terms too much or still room to grow


I had a hunch it was the weather and I was right:

"Most of its small population lives along the ice-free, fjord-lined coast, particularly in the southwest".

Seems the rest of the country is uninhabitable.

Most of the coast traffic may be local travel.


And it's "autonomous Danish territory" which may account for it's closer shipping ties toward Europe rather than Canada/US.
