Weapons range artillery

Post by terminator »

Hello,
I was surprised seeing that the weapons range of the Wurfrahmen 40 was only 1 (just as 30cm R-Werfer 56 & 30cm Nebelwerfer 42).
I expected whether it is 2 just like the Panzerwerfer 42 and the Nebelwerfer 41 & 42.
Was it intentional ?

Hi terminator,

according to my sources those rockets had a lower amount of propellant thus had lower range (about 2 km if memory serves right).

Regards,
