US place one entry chit in the German/Italian Entry Pool.
US freeze Japanese assets. (The tension for this was reduced by 3. One entry chit moved to the tension pool)

A grim turn indeed for the Commonwealth and her Spanish allies....[:(]
Edit: Or the ships damaged.
Indeed...... that makes for really grim reading.
To be honest: if Germany goes for Spain and Gibraltar, this is what one can expect to happen. Personally, I believe the CW is doing exactly what it needs to do in this situation. That is to try to delay the capture of Gibraltar by the Axis for as long as it can do so.
The building strategy of the CW should reflect the situation it is in now: it is fighting for survival and it's facing the enemy alone, as are the Chinese. When is Uncle Sam going to come in. Churchill makes his famous speech of blood, swaet and tears....
By the way: what is happening there? I would like to see what the situation is on that front...

Well, I think the rock is going to fall soon. 1-2 attack and a roll of 9!!! Could have been 3 losses for Germany.
The air-2-air, well even with close odds the Axis are on top and the we have the naval. I can't even comment on that, its so Axis friendly result...
Ofcouse the Axis should take the rock when they put in so much effort, but given the odds I excpectet a more even fight. All cread to the bold Axis Generals.

Now, that doesn't look bad for the Allies at all. Chiang and Mao are in good shape.

Yes, and the last time someone ventured the opinion that the Chinese Communists were looking good we lost 3 units in Si-An on a 2:1....[X(]

Personally, I believe things are looking good in China for the Allies. The Japanese should kill at least the same number of build points the Chinese are producing each turn. To me it looks like the Chinese army is now larger than at the start of the game. That's usually a good thing for China...

After a really bad start in the north, I think that is right as things stand at the moment. As we know though with this game it does not take many bad rolls (or good rolls depending which side you are looking from) to completely change the complexion of a theatre...

I concur with that.
After a good (lucky) start against Mao, the Japanese had a run of poor results, which, along with the weather, bogged things down due to the losses incurred. The result against Sian went some way to redress the luck but it still very much hangs in the balance. A good run of the dice either way could really make a difference.

Allies win the initiative roll with 9 against 4. The question now is whether Axis will demand a re-roll or not.

Axis are willing to try re-roll.
