Got a problem. I've researched Medium Tank II but I cannot produce it. Medium Tank I still shows in production window but NO medium tank II. The T34,m40 needs Medium Tank III researched which I have not done yet.

Cannot remember if this is as should be, and I have alittle too many things happening in my life atm (chief among them my mothers funeral) to check it. Bombur should remember and look at it though...

So I wasted the PP to research Medium Tank II...not in any way favorable to that result. If I had known I would get NOTHING for researching MT2 I would have used the PP to research something ELSE. Until I had enough to do MT3 as well as MT2.

Sorry to hear about your mother. It's been more than 10 years and I still occasionally find myself saying to myself that Mom would love that..or something else like that. But the pain gets less and you can remember the good times and not end up "crying".

In a future upgrade, maybe, you will get the BT-7M, sorry for the inconvenience, it also happens with the French, with Bomber II

Quick question. The medium tank I for the Soviets should say BT-7 or Medium Tank 1...mine says Medium Tank 1. Are the stats the same? Different SFT?

At last the French are kicked out of Rumania. The Axis can now begin to pull back from our mutual Russian border.

In your GD1938 game, how much can you or would you change history by deferent alliances? The reason I ask is, I have 5 days left on my coupon, so would like some more info before making my final decision on which game to purchase. Advanced tactics is one on the list of desirables.

The build of the GD1938 MOD is very different to the Advanced Tactics Gold basic game, the vast majority of ATG games played would be random maps played with the basic ATG rules against the AI and by and large the AI is quite competent, such games were also the mainstay of the forum with large player versus player games being the norm, but some people prefer to play with historical equipment, or at least I do hence the popularity of GD1938 MOD and thanks to the work of Bombur and Ernieshwitz we have a huge muster of world war II equipment. GD1938 is Player versus Player only the AI cannot handle the vastly increased roster of equipment and of course naval warfare is not the AI's strong suit in the basic ATG game and it is a lot more complex in the GD1938 MOD, as to strategy in GD1938 that has been simplified in that Major nations now have to reach a target of Victory points via conquest to obtain victory how they achieve this is up to them and one would expect different combinations of alliances, though so far the Old alliances seem to be the way players are going, the end game may prove to be a different matter.
Are we like late Rome, infatuated with past glories, ruled by a complacent, greedy elite, and hopelessly powerless to respond to changing conditions?

Thank you Ironduke for the quick reply. The end result may be different (your last statement) means a possibility of different outcomes. That sounds like something I would like see.

Also now there is the Civil War Mod.

Sorry for diverting your thread momentarily. Back to your conquering of the world.

The French HQ was able to mount a minor counter attack that encircled a German armored spear head near Lyon. Also the Axis attack on Nantes failed. Massive airstrikes reduced the German artillery.

In Africa Tripolis fell to the Brits after the French considerably weakened the starving defenders.

The USA and Brazil reveal the latest developments on the Argentine front. The joint command on land took Rosario in an attack which include powerful armored elements. A large amount of Japanese-Argentine aircraft were destroyed. At sea USN and Brazilian Navy sea bombardment pounded Argentine defensive positions.
