Post by Agathosdaimon »

Greetings!

With the release from Ageod of Wars of Succession I just would like to post here for anyone interested in the period the existence of the The Great Northern War Compendium. This 2 volume set which I also was an artist for was released last year and contains the work of more than 40 authors, experts in their respective fields regarding the military history of the Great Northern War, the armies, battles and notable figures involved. It is available both on Amazon and on the THGC Website

Hiya Joe, I don't think so. It is, if I am correct, about who got to inherit what thrones.

no it is called Wars of Successions, that is the title and so i am not sure what you are referring to. I was mentioning it as the Ageod game takes place in the same time as teh Great Norther War, with Charles XII of Sweden on the box art too. The Great Northern War though was not so much about competing for a particular Throne, so i guess secession may be an applicable term given the changing relations with the inhabitants of the Baltic regions where much of the Great Norther War's conflicts took place
