The Butcher's Bill.
Indeed.I believe Allies choose assault for that attack (7:1)?
No Allied aircraft. Thank you.Germany attacks against disorganized Spanish units. No ground support from Germany. Does CW want to send any planes? Germany can intercept only by FTR3.

Right I have internet issues so need to break-off. Sorry about this but BT is rubbish.

And you have no possibility to change the internet provider?

I'm curious that you didn't take the X on the Erebus. That ship is so bad, that I really don't mind too much if it sinks.

If I give an X to Erebus - she almost certainly sinks (unless I get extremely lucky). If I put elements of the old 5th Battle Squadron in the way, then (unless I get unlucky) the venerable Valiant and Barham will survive - and allow Erebus to survive too.
Erebus is not 'bad' - she is perfectly good for convoy defence. At this time the CW cannot afford to lose such precious ships.
Of course, the CW cannot afford to lose Valiant and Barham either - but because of the odds, I felt the action taken was the best way to keep all three in the game and I still had a fleet in the Bay of Biscay to take on the German survivors had I been lucky enough to find them.
That was my thinking - I am sure others will disagree.....
