So Crossroads, I'm confused with all the banter in this forum and JTCS form![&:]

Is "A Special Vengeance" scenario for the Divided Ground engine or the CSME engine?

Doubt it would be both compatible.

The download link at the Matrix JTCS forum points to The Blitz Scenario DB for a version of the scenario made by Alan with his Divided Ground install for any Divided Ground game owners still out there.

The download available here is a completely new scenario by Alan he's created with his CS Middle East install, for us CS:ME owners.

Depending on which one you want, or both!, just go to the either of the downloads. Hope this clears any confusion.

Edit: added a CS:ME download link pointer to Openingn Post.

Crossroads,

Thanks for the clarification!

I know DG stuff won't run on CSME and vise versa[:-] so wanted to make sure I have the right download matched with the
right game.

Sometimes I think of myself as the old 1970's board gamer struggling through the computer age and directions get fouled up...

Thanks again!

I am an old 1980's board gamer and I am not sure if things at times look much clearer from my point of view either. I did grow up with a Commodore 64 too though so maybe that helps a bit [:'(]

Great stuff. New historical scenarios are always welcome.

The CS community might be interested to know that Alan's scenario conversions are partially funded, CSL-sponsored, semi-official additions to the CSME package.

Incidentally, not counting the LCG .scl files, the current count of CSME scenarios, both official and semi-official, now exceeds 150.
