its what all the fuss is about...it seems that you can build unlimited number of units that you want
provided you have the tanks/soldiers...same with Cav..it seems that the Russian also had unlimited supply of horses.
Those are my principles, and if you don't like them... well, I have others.

Stalin said that Russia had an unlimited supply of manpower must be the same of horses.

And we also know that captured Russian horses could not be used by Germans because they eat different folder and
only could understand Russian commands + they sht 122mm AP shells

This is a very good point no one has looked at to date.

nobody said captured Russian horses couldn't be used by the Germans - in fact they did. A lot. Look at the images of the 1944 retreat by Army Group North - it looks like an early war Soviet retreat with weapons etc piled into small peasant carts drawn by small locally sourced horses.

the point is the horses the Germans brought from the west could carry/pull more than the usual Russian horse but needed oats etc (I am assuming here you know the basics of mammalian energy consumption and use). Russian horses were not as strong but were ok at foraging from cut grass and substandard sources of nutrition. As with the French in 1812, and the anglo-french armies in the 1850s, the Germans found that they couldn't feed the horses they brought. Not helped as Soviet depots tended not to have much horse fodder for them to capture as that was not part of the Soviet supply chain.

Of course the Soviets too paid a price. The bulk of their horses could not pull heavy weaponry and the lack of tractors etc all contributed to their substantial loss of heavy artillery in the early months of the war.

Eaten it myself as good as wild venison or some stupid cow raised on the farm.

People eat cats and dogs in Asian, I have no problem with it. PETA is a bunch of closed minded liberals/progressives.

They are kind of like ISIS, think like them or die.

Sorry for your loses today Red in England.

Vote in people who look out for your people first and not votes.

Dam your kids/ grand kids have to now grow up with this BS just to go to the store to get milk.

Europe is a complete mess, WTF were you people thinking?

The greatest generation would be like WTF are you doing?

I guess Trump was right abut Putin.

At least he looks out for his people.

Putin not in the news for a while - dead or about to die.

Just another I told you so and I am a moron

Maybe we can give Brian an actual answer before we get to the second page of this thread. [;)]

As Morvael says, trucks is the real limiting factor when it comes to tank and mech corps. But there is a caveat which is in November 43 the tank corps TO&E expands the medium tank count from 99 to 195. That will drain your reserve pool and consume more trucks. You do take significant tank losses in the latter years, so even with a large production base, you can find yourself running short of T-34s in the corps units. I ran pretty close to 24 tank corps and 8 or so mech corps. They do have to adhere to the 40% rule when it comes to guards, so no, they can't all reach that status. Now with cav corps, that 40% rule does not apply. And since they don't have large tank contingents, last game I built about 28.

Rocket divisions I'd pass on when they first come out. You get more bang for the buck with a pair of heavy rocket brigades, and that lasts into 1944. You can build like 8-10 brigades to complement 20 or so artillery divisions.

Dogs are delicately in Korea & Hong Kong is a bit partial to grey hounds.
Anyway M60A3TTS, what you wrote is quite informative...as you say you had 28 Cav Corps,& I am guessing but you could have created more, so what was there composition.

Please explain what is the difference among eating dogs and eating other animals?

In no particular order:

1 Because it's eating your best friend
2 They don't taste nice (carnivores generally don't). Humans taste a lot better. I recommend reading 'A Modest Proposal' by Jonathan Swift
3 The real Sillyflower would kill you if she caught you.
4 The animals eaten for food would not be born/kept alive if not for consumption
5 The cow you refuse to eat may be offended. See the restaurant at the end of the universe (in the Hitch-hiker's guide to the galaxy)
6 It's a free choice
7 The greater cruelty is eating vegetables: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KmK0bZl4ILM

To return to Brian's questions, I guess there probably is a limit somewhere in the software but one that you won't reach before running out of APs, trucks, men etc
