[AWAITING FEEDBACK] Version number not changing

I downloaded and installed updates 1.10 and 1.11, but my version still reads 1.09. I have the Matrix store version not steam.
Could that be the reason I am having problem I submitted below?

When you ran the update executable(s) when it got to the part where it asks you to point at a directory did you point it at where you have command is install. Sometimes the default selection may not be correct.

Run again and give it a shot. Let us know how you do.

Nope, still reads 1.09. It ran in the correct directory.

Do you have several instances of the game installed?

Nope, just one instance.

If you go to the directory where Command is installed, is there more than one instance?
