DC:community project - serial number error

Post by savedByYehoshua »

Hello - I have a valid steam install of DC:Barbarossa v1.03r that runs fine. I downloaded the DC community project beta today and it installs fine but I get an error that says it can't locate a valid serial number (VR designs error code: 5) when trying to run. Any ideas? Tried installing as administrator still same SN error.

Hi there,

Sorry you are having problems, 2 requests in order to help you.

1. Could you tell me your Operating System? and language?

2. Some times Steam can be enigmatic. Could your locate your config.vdf file and email it to vic@vrdesigns.net?
Mine is in: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\config

Hope to figure this out asap.

Best wishes,
Vic

Please install the patch v0.90e from http://www.vrdesigns.net/community1.php
