Yes indeed! Ubisoft owns the SSI catalog, this would be a great Strategy-Action-Civ type game upgrade! [:)] Here is a DOS gameplay video...

Along the same lines, while we're hitting the SSI Catalog: How bout an updated remake of.... Warhammer 40k Chaos Gate ... 40k tactical offerings are either very limited in scope or not well supported recently ... would love to see that one revived ...

How about an updated version of Norm Koger's Age of Rifles. It was a great game and had an editor.

Avalon Hill's Bismarck.

What a game that could be. Perfect for solitaire vs the AI too.

You could have the search board just like the board game, but then imagine the possibilities with the other aspects of the game? The battles, carrier management etc. The visuals could be stunning.

Yes indeed again! SSI published and developed some great games and this one certainly was. [:)] The 1998 offering is still enjoyable but I too would like to see it revived...Ubisoft still has control. Here is some gameplay video...

Several companies have tried but none have succeeded in releasing an updated Master of Magic, my personal favorite PC game of all time.

MicroProse & its subsidiary MicroPlay, Strategic Simulations, Inc. (SSI), Strategic Studies Group (SSG), and a number of other PC game companies from years past have numerous titles that are or were favorites of gamers past and present which could be candidates for updating. I would have a hard time choosing a single title--after Master of Magic, of course.

Exactly - if it was ground breaking then, imagine what could be done now? [:)]

Updating them all would be fantastic [:)], unfortunately that will not happen [:(], but we can dream...

Maybe GOG could pick up some of these titles for using DOSbox and/or some emulators. I'd be happy if my modern day joystick worked with the older version of Cyber Empires. The graphics aren't that bad.

That takes me back in time.

I lent it to a friend twenty years ago and never saw it again.

But I do have the pdf.
