Factory evacuation guide outdated?

Post by wga8888 »

Is the Wallac's Russian factory evacuation guide is out of date relative to 1.08.10?
For example
- it says to leave the Kharkov Su-2 factory because it stops production in 12/1941 and doesn't upgrade. But my factory window shows me it upgrades to IL-2M in October 1942.
-Likewise the BA-10 factory states to leave ad stops production in 9/41. The factory window says it upgrades to BA-64 in April 1942.

This is by clicking the unit type on the production button. Saving a factory for future unit only requires saving 1 point.

These factories stop production and do not upgrade.
The factory screen shows that Su-2 will upgrade to IL-2M not the factory. If I understand in correctly it means that units equipped with Su-2 will in October 1942 switch planes to IL-2M(if auto change is ON)
Factories change the production only if in the production screen is also "Factory Upgrade to:"

I've been but rather turned off the TV to avoid a heart attack.

Thanks for the clarification. It is a continual learning process as I can only remember so much. I know the rules to too many eastern front boardgames and computer games rattling in my head. Things get confused & intermingled or filed away in a safe place (aka lost).
